Terms & conditions

Version 1.0.0 · Last updated 2026-07-30

Introduction

Welcome to Qotbox (qotbox.com). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Qotbox B2B procurement platform via web and mobile apps.

By creating an account or using the platform, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

Definitions

“Platform”: the Qotbox service that connects verified buyers with verified suppliers.

“Buyer”: an entity that publishes requests for quotation (RFQs) and receives offers.

“Supplier”: an entity that reviews opportunities and submits offers.

“QotCash”: a closed internal balance for use on the platform only — not a bank account and not withdrawable as cash.

Role of the platform

Qotbox is a technical intermediary that facilitates publishing requests, receiving offers, messaging, and managing certain fees. The platform is not a party to any supply contract between buyer and supplier.

Any agreement on price, delivery, or warranty is made directly between buyer and supplier, unless expressly stated otherwise in the platform interface.

Accounts and verification

You must provide accurate and up-to-date information. The platform may request legal documents (such as trade license, tax registration, or identity) to approve or verify an account.

Qotbox reserves the right to refuse registration, suspend an account, or terminate it for Terms violations, misleading information, or operational or legal reasons.

RFQs and offers

The buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the request description and deadlines. The supplier is responsible for the accuracy of its offers and for honouring what it submits when a buyer accepts.

Fees may apply to publishing requests or unlocking request details for suppliers, according to the prices shown on the platform at the time of use.

Accepting or rejecting an offer is done through the platform; in-platform messaging may be enabled after an offer is accepted.

QotCash and fees

QotCash balance is used to pay approved platform fees (such as publishing an RFQ or unlocking a request). The balance is not transferable off-platform and is not a bank deposit.

Real payment occurs when topping up the wallet; a tax invoice is then issued under UAE rules. Deducting fees from QotCash balance on the platform is recorded as a balance-consumption receipt, not a new cash payment.

Any refund or adjustment is subject to platform policies and applicable law.

User conduct

Using the platform for unlawful purposes, sending abusive content, circumventing fees, impersonation, or misuse of other users’ data is prohibited.

Chat messages and attachments must relate to business tied to the requests; Qotbox may review reports and take appropriate action.

Intellectual property and limitation of liability

The Qotbox mark and platform interfaces are protected; they may not be copied or reused without permission.

The platform is provided “as is” within the limits of the law. Qotbox is not liable for commercial losses arising from dealings between users, service interruption, or third-party decisions.

Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms; the update date is shown at the top of the document. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated version unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Arab Emirates, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

This document is in effect for the Qotbox platform and governs use of the platform as of the last update date above.
